KABA was the first person to put me on TV - Nkosuohene


The final funeral rites of Multimedia’s broadcaster Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong popularly called KABA came off last weekend, December 16 at the forecourt of State House, Accra.

KABA died in the early hours of Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital following a short illness.

Until his sudden demise, KABA, married to Valentina Ofori Afriyie, was the host of popular late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa 94.7 FM.

Several sympathisers ranging from Political, opinion and spiritual leaders turn up at the funeral of the late popular broadcaster.

In the wake of others who also attended the final funeral rites included showbiz personalities, colleagues in the media among many others.
 One person who had few words to say about the late broadcaster revealed he couldn't have missed the funeral knowing KABA as a brother and friend.

Radio presenter, event promoter and a master of ceremonies cum actor Francis Frempong Manson popularly called Nkosuohene who flew from Germany to Ghana added his presence to the loving audience at the ceremony also revealed that the late KABA was the first person to put him on TV, adding that, he's grateful for the opportunity to finally see him laid to a peaceful rest.

KABA’s mortal remains were conveyed to his former workplace at Multimedia as a final trip before he was eventually taken to the State Banquet House in Accra last Saturday.
