Video: Banku rushed to KORLE-BU after a strong punch from Bastie landed him down with a bleeding eye in the Round 7
Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Issah Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku is reported to have been rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra after suffering a humiliating defeated from Samir Bastie on Saturday night.
The defeat came by way of a 7th round technical knock-out in a cruiser-weight bout against undefeated Samir Bastie at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
Bukom Banku who sustained a severe upper cut in his eye has been rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.
According to an insider in the camp of the boxer, he could not open his bleeding eye when they arrived home, hence, the decision to rush him to the hospital.
He is currently at the hospital now receiving treatment.
